Practical approaches to the practice of Jewish mindfulness meditation and its relationship to teachings of Kabbalah and Hasidism.

An exploration of the emerging practice of Jewish spiritual direction, a contemplative process of discerning one’s ongoing relationship with a living god.

JEWISH GENEAOLOGY
An introduction to Jewish genealogy, the process of creating family histories and family trees. Specific resources will be presented to enable people to begin researching family roots and creating family trees.

A MENSCH AMONG MEN – JUDAISM AND THE MEN’S MOVEMENT
An exploration of the ways in which Jewish men can move fully understand themselves, their emotional lives, their work, and their intimate relationships with partners, and with children.

ANCESTRAL JOURNEYS AND THE MYTHIC QUEST FOR GOD
A psychological exploration of archetypal mythic tales of our Biblical ancestors which reveal contemporary guidelines for living a spiritual life in our times. (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Solomon, David, Elijah)

SPIRITUAL GUIDELINES TO THE PASSOVER SEDER
An exploration of the symbols of the Passover Seder from a contemporary-Kabbalistic perspective. Guidelines for creating a spiritually-significant Passover Seder ritual. (Similar programs may be developed for other Jewish holidays, e.g. “Hanukkah – A Candle in the Night”, “Tu B’Shevat Seder”; “Getting Ready for the High Holy Days”, etc.)

MIND-BODY HEALING AND THE SPIRITUALITY OF SHABBAT
An opportunity to discover ways in which the Shabbat can be used as a powerful tool in healing of body emotion, mind and spirit.

WALKING THE MOURNERS PATH
A day-long workshop combining personal sharing, meditation, teaching and story-telling designed to enable participants to explore their own emotional, psychological and spiritual issues in response to an encounter with loss.
